The rules of engagement with our chamber

These Terms & Conditions set out the framework for your relationship with the Franco-Nigerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry — what we deliver, what we expect from members and partners, and the legal basis on which we operate.

Please read them carefully. They apply alongside our Privacy Policy and any specific terms published for individual events, services or publications.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the FNCCI website, member portal, eDirectory, events or any related service, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Membership obligations

  • Members must provide accurate and current information at the point of application and keep it up to date.
  • Membership fees are payable annually and grant access to the benefits associated with the chosen tier (Platinum, Privilege or Corporate).
  • Members are expected to uphold the ethical standards and professional conduct of the chamber and the wider CCI France International network.
  • FNCCI reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for breach of these Terms or conduct prejudicial to the chamber's interests.

3. Intellectual property

All content on the FNCCI website — including text, images, logos, reports, the eDirectory and the FNCCI Newsletter — is the property of FNCCI or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. Members may use chamber publications for internal business purposes; redistribution, resale or commercial reuse requires prior written consent.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not use FNCCI services for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose.
  • Do not attempt to access restricted areas, member data or systems without authorisation.
  • Do not use member directory information for unsolicited bulk marketing.
  • Do not misrepresent your affiliation with FNCCI in external communications.

5. Events and registrations

Event registrations are subject to availability and the specific terms published with each event. Cancellation and refund policies apply per event. FNCCI reserves the right to refuse admission, modify the programme or cancel an event when reasonably necessary, with timely notice to registered participants.

6. Limitation of liability

FNCCI provides its services on an "as is" basis. While we take reasonable care to ensure the accuracy of information published on the site and shared through our channels, FNCCI makes no warranties as to completeness or fitness for a particular purpose, and accepts no liability for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of our services, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of FNCCI services shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Lagos, without prejudice to applicable bilateral or international conventions.

8. Changes to these terms

FNCCI may revise these Terms from time to time. The most recent version is always available on this page, with the effective date displayed at the top. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
