French Chamber at a glance

 

Based in Lagos, the Franco-Nigerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) was founded in 1985. It belongs to a worldwide network of 115 French Chambers (CCIFI) in 85 countries with over 35,000 companies.

 

Our mission is to develop and foster economic, commercial and financial relationships between France and Nigeria. We facilitate set-up and accelerate development of French companies in the local market, develop relations between our members and the Nigerian business community, and encourage economic, commercial and investment relations between France and Nigeria.

 

The chamber today has grown to a professional organization with over 200 member organization made up of French and Nigerian companies with business interests in France and Nigeria from all sectors forming a dynamic and powerful business network.

The French Chamber in Lagos delivers a full range of services, should you simply wish to gain market knowledge or want to develop a new commercial activity in Nigeria. These services include among others, a first market approach, business missions, support for company set-up, domiciliation, commercial representation, fit-to-measure solutions for exhibiting at major regional exhibitions.

 

The FNCCI, as the representative organ for the business community in France and Nigeria, maintain regular consultations with the government and government agencies that affect business operations in Nigeria. These organizations ranges from ministries to agencies of government.

 

Access to Information and Expertise

We gather working groups for our members to take part in, giving them the opportunity to share their professional experience and obtain industry update.

 

With a 135 of our membership composed of non-French nationals, we take pride in the diversity of our member companies. The dynamism and vitality of our members have been instrumental in making our Chamber an organisation that is well-known and appreciated by a great number of business people in Nigeria.
